On Quiet Mornings
There's a lot going around about morning routines right now. Neither I nor anyone else has the golden secret to morning routines, but one thing I've discovered is that I love quiet mornings.
No face dunks in ice.
No starting off with listing my ten goals for the day.
The most productive and plentiful days for me always start the same.
I wake up, eat breakfast with my spouse, enjoy a short walk with my dogs, putter around and read some WSJ articles, slice thirty minutes at the beginning of the day to enjoy a hobby, exercise, and then start in on what I am doing.
Why some people enjoy starting their day like they're under torture, I do not know.
But, for me, taking care of your mind, body, and spirit is a good way to begin anything. Hard to miss.
